Mitchell has just returned from France, where she studied French at the University of Paris. She was greeted at the pier by Fred H. Thomp- son, prominent physician and surgeon of Baltimore, Md. In her statements to the press, Mlle. Mitchell made mention of having seen Miriam Leak, concert pianist, in a world recital tour.
