PURE GRD Proposilioni ff circle can be circumscribed about a regular polygon. At Livingston High School there is the usual hustle, Hurry, and activity so char- acteristic of a modern school, yet in all our activity there is an underlying unity. VVe have made our hook an attempt to show how the five sides of our school life are like a pentagon circumscribed within a circle, the symbol of completeness, harmony, and unity. First, there is an administration who guides us. Second, there are seniors who are completing their high school work. Third, there are the classes that represent steps on the way to graduation from high school. Fourth, there are activities in which we work and serve. Fifth, there are athletics which give us recreation and sport. All these are the five sides of the pentagon. Around these five sides of our school life there is the whole plan, the idea, of our school. lVe at Livingston High School, with all our diversified activities and studies, feel ourselves an important part of a functioning school which we here attempt to symbolize by a geometric design.
