Entertalnment We recelved much pleasure from the w1de varlety of entertainment that we have had during the year We engoyed especlally the vocal selections by the Normal University All Male Glee Club, the Greenvllle College Quartet, and the Halleujah Quartet Another phase of entertalnment was given us by Tommy Tucker, an lmpersonator and sound effects man from Hollywood We were also entertalned by the Cole Marionettes, who held a puppet show, WUnder the B1g Top W Thls was enjoyed by the elderly people as well as the youngsters Speakers at L C H S Several talks glven at our school proved to be qu1te 1n formational Doctor Colllns talked about Tuberculosis, 1t8 Mr Ivens, and Mr Bryant from Blackburn, Browns, Normal, and Carbondale colleges respectively, spoke to us about the par tlculars of college l1fe Mr Jonas Dudley also spoke to us on Korea, while showlng films of that country, whlch he took there while he was a member of the Armed Forces F H A A Home Maklng Club was organlzed by the members of the Home ECODOm1CS Department This was the Future Homemakers of AMGPICB, the FHA, and was under the dlrection of Mrs Blnney March of Dimes Once agaln the March of Dimes Campalgn of our school was conducted by a speclal committee of students The committee chairmen were J Helnz, E H1ghlander, C Spud1ch, C Putq L Benardln, E Graiff, and R Sandrln Through the efforts and generoslty of the Livingston people, this campaign was again a successful one Noon Hour The students have kept themselves occupied during the noon hour by playing basketball and volleyball in the gym.
