Brighton Nov 16 In the opening game of the season, used successfully in overcoming B ighton by the score Moggio led the team to victory with 22 points Shipman Shipman Nov 22 The second game of the season ended HPirates,N by the score of h8 to 29 Lincoln emerged Nov 29 The Eagles played host to Lincoln of victorious, sparked on by Torry with lb points the fast break was of hh 27 Captain in defeat for the East St Louis and Edwardsville Dec 2 The annual contest with Edwardsville was played with much enthusiasm Livingston, however, came out on the short end of the score, Sl 32 due to the fact that Livingston did not possess the re strength which Edwardsville had Yet, the game was a much closer one until the remaining minutes of the game Sorento Dec 7 For the fifth game of the season, the Eagles were visi ted by Sorento, who were trounced soundly, going home with a loss of 57 26 Dunbar Dec l3 With the season well under way, the Eagles Dunb r, where they emerged victorious, 32 28 The game was a ler all the way up to the final struggle tet, wko e erged with a victory after leading throughout the Pocahontas Holiday Invitational Tourney traveled to real thril game, 39 29 Ne played our first game in the Pocahontas Tournament against High land, and the Eagles emerged victorious M6 L3 However the Fagles were given a sour outlook for the future due to a fractured elbow which was received by Pob Mog io In the second round of the tournament, the 8 Eagles were matched against ged victorious by a score advanced to the final round iowever we were awarded the second place trophy Lincoln of Fast St Louis, and again we ener- of 37 3h Having not yet been defeated, we where w were b a+en out by Pocahontas 37 29 Poke Tourney 2nd Place Trophy 'Moment' 'After the Battle' Poke Tourney 1 , . l 1 Benld-Dec. 16 This date saw the Eagles playing host to the Penld quin- 23
