LM At the start of the school year, 44 students were enrolled in the Junior class However, dur ing the first semester, this number was decreased to 21 due to the dropping out of three students Agnes Arbgast, Emmert wansholt, and Don Schweppe The first major event in which the Juniors participated was the Fall Festival Although no Juniors were queen candidates, several took part in the coronation ceremony Peggy Binney, Nanette Perne, and June Voyles were gift bearers, Carol Puto and Georgianna Vesper were the queen's at tendants, and Jack Augustine and Raymond Forry served as escorts On bebruary 2, the class play, HDanger wil lie at aork', was presented Almost the entire class took part in this with the exception of L Graiff and M willows, who put on a humorous skit entitled nBumps The play, one of the chief money makers of the year, was under the direction of the class sponsor, Mlss Helen Kioping The newly organized F H A Club includes the following Junior members P Neyer, N Perne, M Hainaut, Y Hainaut, and P Binney A large number of our class also belongs to the Pep Club and Glee Club Two of the cheer leaders, Nanette Perne and Patty Meyer, are mem bers of the Junior Class Last spring, class officers were chosen for this school year Those selected were President Leonard Craiff Vice President Raymond Torry Sec'y Treasurer Ceorgianna Vesper At a meeting in the fall of this yea he following were decided upon Motto ctory Fo lows Lffortn Flower white Carnation Colors Maroon and Gray Raymond Torry and Carol Puto were elected to represent the Junior Class on the Student Council. 15 , 1 2 N - O n V M.
