“SEN IGH PLAY On December 15, the Senior Class presented what they believe to be their greatest success, perhaps a goal for the succeeding classes, their play, 'The Flop U The reason for their pride in this play is because it was actually written in full by themselves The plans were made by their sponsor, I I Verton, and soon the scripts were completed and filled with what turned out to be fine entertainment for an evening Ironically enough, one of the characters of the play accidentally fell off of the stage, or 'flopped' before the curtaln separated to give a good basis for the title, 'The Flop' The scene of the play was a country classroom of an elementary school, where a day of school was acted out This filled about one half of the time of the play, the other half began when a troop of negro entertainers came to the school to perform Quite a few talented mem bers of the class made their social debut at this time The Seniors believe that all went home in a gay mood that night The Cast was as follows: Students James Edmiston, Eva Highlander, Delmar Blom, Loretta Costa, Maurice Wilder, Bettie Benardin, Edward Niehaus, Betty Reschak, Bob Bel lovich, Bettye Robeza, and Judy May Negro Troop Bob Moggio, Franklin Wargo, Catherine Spudich, Joanne Sch warz, Jim Allen, Jim Rausch, Earl Best, Irvin Kline, and George Lesicko Teacher: Anne Perne Principal Frank Pedrotti Luiji Mr Verton Robeza, D Blom, J Edmiston, B Reschak, B Benardin Seated F Pedrotti, A Ferns, J Schwarz, F Lesicko, J Rausch, E Hlghlander, J Allen, J lay, E Best, F Wargo, B Moggio, C Spudich, I Kllne 11 Standing: Mr. Verton, B.
