SENIOR CLASS HISTORY Senlors at last Some are happy and some are rather sad Happy, because we don't have to go through such thlngs as initiation and sad, because we won't have the fun with our group The Seniors of l9h6 really knew how to initiate They used a shocklng machine and a tub of cold water Some of our class had to sit in the tub of water Others had to eat a m1XtUF8 of mustard, salad-dressing, noodles, pepper, salt, and almost everythlng imaglnable After f66d1Ug us suctma mess, we were g1ven ice cream, cake, and soda Since we were offlcially high school students, we took part in the Fall Festival Some were in the plays and others helped the upper classmen in their work Bob Bello v1ch served as an escort Our play nGone Wlth The J1rls, was a success The students enjoyed presenting it and the audlence engoyed seelng lt The class offlcers for this Freshman year were Bob hoggio, Presldent, Janes Allen, V1ce President, Helen Tsu pros, Secretary Treasurer Our representatives to the Stu dent Councll were Judy May, Frank Pedrottl, and Bob Mogglo, our Presldent Delores Dragovlch declded to leave school and Andy Sc1 ranko, thinklng that the Navy couldn't do w1thout h1m, jolned We were more fortunate 1n the Fall Festlval our Sopho and other jobs Anne Perne was selected as second g1ft bearer and Frank Pedrot i was her escort Bob Bellovlch es- corted the Queen NH1gh Pressure Homern was our bid for fame as actors The returns seemed to please the Sophomores as well as the play pleased the audlence The Sophomore class of lcers remalned the same as dur ing our Freshman year, with the exceptlon of James Allen, who was replaced by Catherlne Spudlch as Vlce Presldent At the beglnnlng of our THn1OP year our class increas Jlorlan Freund, Donald Adams, Irv1n Kllne, and Fdward Nlehaus, from the New Douglas area, enrolled for their Juni or year Thls year there were quite a few Junlor representatlves 1D the Fall Fest1val Judy May, attendant Helen Tsupros, Fourth Glft Bearer, Betty Benardln, Thlrd G1ft Bearer, Anne Perne, Second Jlft Bearer Catherine Spud1ch was a candi date for Queen and Joanne Schwarz was chosen as the Queen of the Fall Festlval Franklln Wargo and Robert NOgg1O were the1r escorts, respectlvely 9 .
