They were Glorian Freund, Irvin Kline, Edward Niehaus, and Donald Adams. The latter, how ever quit before the end of the first semester. We elected the following officers at our first class meeting: President..... .,,.,Bobby Moggio Vice-Pres1dent...... ...Catherine Spudich Secretary-Treasurer....................He1en Tsupros Judy May and Franklin Wargo were elected to repre- sent the junior class on the Student Council and Anne Perne was chosen as class reporter. The juniors were well represented in one of the most colorful Fall Festivals in the history of the school. Betty Benardin, Helen Tsupros, and Anne Perne served as gift bearers. Their escorts were Jack Augustine, Ray Torry, and Richard Meyer respectively Judy May was an attendant to the retiring queen Joann Schwarz and Catherine Spudich were chosen can didates for queen from the junior class Franklin Wargo was Catherine's escort and Bobby Moggio escorted the new queen, Joann Schwarz The juniors also turned to art O Wednesday, Feb ruary 16 1949 we traveled to St Louis to view the Bar lin Hastorpieces Although the paintings were not fully understood, they were greatly appreciated Our class was again successful in the presentation of its play The play 'Twixteen was managed by the class sponsor, Mr Verton The cast includes the following Catherine Spudich, Loretta Costa, Joann Schwarz, Helen Tsupros, Anne Perne, Judy May, Frank Pedrotti, Bobby Mog glo, Robert Bellovich, and Franklin Wargo The class decided on a school party as the year's outstanding entertainment Dancing, volley ball, and eat for all were the main features As is the usual custom the juniors entertained the seniors this year by taking a trip to Springfield very enjoyable time was had by all In addition to Frank Pedrotti who acted as manager four junior boys participated in basketball They were James Edminston, Bobby Moggio, Franklin Wargo, and James Allen Many of the junior girls belong to the Pep Club and Catherine Spudich and Anne Perne had the honor cheering the boys on to victory 0 1 . .
