PHYSICAL Each year the Physical Education Department of- fers a variety of activities. Students may choose to participate in those they enjoy most. The co-ed classes available this year include basketball, golf, tennis, dance, weight-training, exercise and fitness, badminton and jogging. Also provided are basic and advanced classes of football, soccer and softball for both the novice and accomplished athlete. In addition, courses in health, driver education and family living are given by the department. Adap- tive gym provides physical activity for many stu- dents who are unable to participate in regular gym class. Practical courses in cooking, nutritional aware- ness, and food buying for the consumer, prepare the student for practical awareness in this area. A well structured pro- gram includes sewing, pattern making, and the ability to cre- ate clothing suited to an individual's personality.
