B Qian-- MR. EDMUND FABRIZIO Department Chairman I? 'r ' ' MR. LOUIS CAPRARIO SCIENCE The Science Department provides a variety of popular courses for the many students at Livingston High School. Unlike other high schools where sci- ence is reserved only for the intellectual, LHS has a science department with a course for all students, no matter what level of scientific knowledge. There are various levels of Biology, Chemistry and Physicsg this year, two new courses, Honors Chemistry and Honors Physics have been initiated by the depart- ment chairman, Mr. Edmund Fabrizio. Most stu- dents however, take interdisciplinary approaches to Chemistry and Conceptual Physics rather than Modern Physics. Also available to the student body are several sci- ence electives. Nuclear Chemistry and Biochemistry aid the student who is interested in the chemical aspect of science, while Organic Chemistry and Physiology help those interested in medicine. All courses in the department provide vital information for both the students who will stop their study of science after high school as well as those who wish to continue in the field. 'v..m
