ADMINISTRATION What makes graduation from high school such a significant and unique time of your life? The answer is found in the fact that this singular event means so many different things to the individuals whom it affects. lt is both an end and a beginning, a feeling of fulfillment as well as apprehen- sion and a time of joy coupled with a tinge of sadness. Few other personal or collec- tive experiences elicit such a variety of deep, often conflicting emotions. This is natural, however, and it is why we who have worked with you look upon it as such an important event and share, to some extent, the thoughts that occupy your minds during these last weeks of your high school experience. May I, on behalf of the entire staff of Livingston High School, extend my best wishes for a future filled with health, suc- cess and the deep feeling of satisfaction that comes from knowing that you have helped make someone's life a little bit bet- ter. As former principal at Marlboro High School, Mr. Berlin is well exper- ienced in administrative respon- sibilities. His primary goal is to have the students at LHS con- tribute to the welfare of the com- munity. Also, he wishes to estab- lish a mutual awareness and con- cern between the school and the people of Livingston. ln addition, Mr. Berlin hopes to maintain the excellent rapport he has devel- oped with both students and fac- ulty. His long range goals include a continual review of the curricu- lum to ascertain that it remains current, effective, and interest- ing.
