THE HISTORY OF THE PAST AND THE PROMISE OF THE FUTURE W e, the members of the Class of 1967, determined to save succeeding generations . . . to reaffirm faith in human rights . . . to establish conditions of justice and respect . . . to promote social progress and better standards of life . . . to practice tolerance . . . to unite our strength . . . to insure the acceptance of principles . . . to employ machinery for the promotion of economic advancement of all peoples have resolved to combine our efforts to accom- plish these aims.
