J NEW HORIZON S On the third floor the big change was in the library It is now twice the size that it was lt can seat 48 students has space for 4000 books and for about '10 reference magazines that are kept from year to year It also has a conference corner Adjoining the library IS the work room It contains the librarian s corner and the Audio Visual corner Outside the library in the corridor a showcase has been installed so that various things of interest may be displayed Throughout the building in some of the class rooms new lighting fixtures and sound proof ceilings have been installed also Our new look extends outside the building too On the north side there is a new bus turn around a crescent shaped driveway which enables the buses to unload students right at the school door. On the south side of course is the new addition for Industrial Arts. Another change although not to the building is one which staggers district school hours and bus trips so that the high school hours are now from 8:30 to 2:30 instead of from 9:00 to 3:15 - Altogether there is quite a list of new things to see if you havent been in our building lately and of course no mention has been made of other changes in the school district-a new bus garage and new grammar and junior high school buildings under construction. 13
