Senior Play The Tavern, Created Members of this year's class of 72 exhibited their talents in a play entitled THE TAVERN, by George M. Cohan. Nlrs. Victoria Stadelhofer once again successfully directed the cast. THE TAVERN was a melodrama which was centered around a mysterious vagabond. lt took place in a lonely tavern one wild stormy night, when a woman, the State Governor and his family were help up. Several people were suspected of the crime and the mysterious vagabond took infinite delight in observing developments as they took place about him. When suspense reached an almost unbearable climax the vagabond was at last located by the keepers of a nearby Sanitarium and it is learned that he, the madman. was responsible for the vastly amusing and complicated series of misunderstandings.
