Scholastic Freedom Sparks Imagination Many students are working on projects in the science department this year. There was a wide variety of experiments conducted throughout the year. Three students made a survey of the Del Valle Reservoir. Others worked on comparative anatomy and optical experiments. Many of these people take the regular science courses with their independent study as a supplement. The Math Learning Center provides the opportunity for moving at your own rate in that department. In its second year, independent study has proven to be one of the most popular and effective educational programs offered at Livermore High School. lt is hoped that there will be independent study in more fields.
