Q Earth The grass flames up on the hill- sides like a spring fire-as if the earth sent forth an inward heat to greet the returning sung not yellow but green is the color if its flameg -the symbol of perpetual youth, the grass blade, like a long green ribbon, streams from the sod into the summer, checked indeed by the frost, but anon pushing on again, lifting its spear of last year's hay with fresh life below... Pleasure Faire Attracts Appropriately Clad LH Students to Festivities Ladies in long dresses, gentlemen in tights with feathers in their hats, and peasants alike were at the Renaissance Faire as witnessed by the students of LHS on a Saturday in September. Marin County woods were the scene where we stepped backward in time to enjoy the Faire, If you're in doubt as to what a Renaissance Faire is, it's simply a few acres of woodland where people congregate to enjoy the plays, singers. musicians, food and wares the peasants sell behind booths-all this in a 12th to 16th Century setting. qs. TOP LEFT: The faces of Barbara Trimble, Gina DeLorenzo and Anna Taylor express the physical and emotional strain of a day spent at the Pleasure Faire.
