Senivr 671155 History .T X X X S xxx X X ,C ww P51 N- i ' L J, 'Q . - sk ' 1 - Q In September of 1962, what was to be the illustrious class ol '66 fell into the enthusiastic arms of the Seniors as our first year of high School began. We were welcomed by the traditional Fresh- man Reception, which consisted of our class president, Pat Stout, spinning a hula-hoopto the music of Sheila, and the donation ol lolli-pops to all the Frosh. We all, however, lived through this dance and came back to give our first big dance ofthe year, the Freshman Return. Our class ofticers tor the year were Pat Stout, President, Ken Cambria, Vice-president, Daidre Foote, Secretaryg Jackie Williams, Treasurer: Linda Graybeal, Girls' representative, Debby Buddington and Dennis Podgorny, Program representa- tives. The school year ol' 1963-1964 was marked by the completion of a second high school, relieving the overcrowded situation at Livermore High. With Livermore thus divided into two high schools, our graduation will mark the first and last class to grad- uate from Livermore in which half of its members will graduate from a different high school than the one from which they started. Representing our class in school spirit, as our J.V. cheerlead- ers, we elected Janet Vierra, Head, Elaine Birdsall, Chris Morgan, and Sherese Walker. One of our year's biggest dances was the Sophomore Hop, with Soda Shop Hop as our theme. Repre- senting the Sophomore class was Debby Buddington, President: Cathy Fess, Vice-presidentg Judy Jackson, Secretaryg Carolyn Conner, Treasurerg Carol Tompkins, Girls' representative, Mike Armstrong, Boys' representativeg Pam Wyatt and Dennis Pod- gorny, Program representatives, and Bev Paes. A.G.S. representa- tive. The school year of 1964-1965 brought to Juniors a most memorable year, The Juniors now laced one ofthe most excit- ing and long remembered events ol our high school years, the Jun- ior Prom. The theme chosen was Star-light Cot.illion with Pat Oliver and Dennis Podgorny as King and Queen. The officers for our Junior year were Jim Dolan, Presidentg Jack Higley, Vice- presidentg Debby Buddington, Secretary, Chris Epps, Treasurer: Perry Watts, Boys' representative, Elaine Birdsall, Girls' repre- sentativeg Janet Meyers and Dahl Sims, Program representatives: Janet Vierra, A.G.S. representative. The long anticipated year finally arrived. We now became Seniors. Keeping the school in high spirits was encouraged by our Varsity cheerleaders, Irene Curtis, Headg Linda Baldwin, Elaine Birdsall, Sherese Walker, Janet Vierra, and our Pom Pon girl, .lone McGregor. Class officers this year were Tom Reitz, Presi- dentg Tim Baird, Vice-president, Sandy Graver, Secretaryg Steve Swanson, Treasurer, Glenda Matthews, Girls' Representative, Doug Serpa, Boys' representative, Judy Jackson and Robert Kamp, Program representatives, and Lana Glass, A.G.S. repre- sentative. The year was filled with the biggest and best activities of all. Among them was the Senior Play, Tea-House of the Au- gust Moon, presented in the early portion of the year and to- ward the latter part of the year the long awaited Senior Ball. As Freshmen the day seemed land was! many years away, but our graduation ceremony has finally arrived. It is now time tor the class ot 1966 to receive their diplomas. We look toward the future, each with his individual thoughts, plans, and expectations.
