NVe later gave our first dance, the Freshman reception, that fall. Our first class officers were john XVagner, president, Mike Ward, vice-president, Micki Greager, secretary, john Ochoa, treasurer, Linda johns and Raul Bonilla, girls' and boys' representatives and john Benapfl and Cathy Uhren, program chairmen. The Outstanding Freshman Boy of the Year was Don Knott and the Outstanding Girl was Edith Iiagomarsino. This year some of our seniors made history by playing in the first full orchestra heard at Livermore Iligh in many years. As Sophoinores in the fall of 1961, we elected Don Knott our class president, jim Clark, vice-president, Meredith jones, secretary, and jim Poco, treasurer. The other offices were filled hy Greg Lee, David Grubbs, Karen Lee, Gayle Simms and Dorothy Clelland. That year judith Rickertt, jayme Deck, Micki Creager and Barbara Besant led the cheers at our j.V. football and MB basketball games. Our class dance, the Sophomore Ilop, had a Fiesta theme. The all-school play of the year was The Nlarriage Machine . For the year 1962-63 we elected jim Clark class president, Greg Lee, vice-president, Sigrid Sanford, secretary, Dennis Clark, treasurer, Don Knott, boys' representative, Micki Creager, girls' representative, Eric Caine and Barbara Piper, program chairmen. Tlns yearns junior Prom was titled April in Paris and was presided over by King and Queen jim Clark and Sheryl Cochran. That Spring in 1963, many of us participated in the all-school musical play, fjklllllfllltllf Fall, 1963 - our last year finally arrived. lCycn before school started many of us were busy sending Meredith jones on an unanticipated trip to Germany for AFS. Uther official travelers were Linda johns, who spent the summer in the Philippines, Nlarguerita Siches, an arrival for the year from Spain, and Linda Fleming, though not a senior and not au AFS ex- change student, was welcomed from Scotland with the same entlmsiasm. For more shouting, our Varsity Cheerleaders were Mike NYard, Lauralee Baclnnan, Sheryl Cochran and joAnne just. For Ilomeeoming we elected jayine Deck as Queen. Our Town, the all-school play, was literally that, for the very large east was composed of students from both Liverinore and Granada lligh Schools. Our theatrical talent was further displayed in our Senior Play, .1ll's1'riif' um! 0111 Luce. Over Christmas vacation the major physi- cal problem of the year, Granada lligh School, picked up and left for its own campus. Spring finally came with Senior Ditch Day, the Senior Ball and Graduation to be taken care of. In four years we have come a long way and now we can look forward to the new goals in our future. 23
