history of S the class of 1963 W -1.5 fi 24? X Y The Class of ,673 was officially welcomed into high school hy the Senior Class in Septemher, 1959. In honor of the occasion, the Seniors generously donated lollipops to us. XVe gave our first dance later in the fall, it was the Freshman Return, and we chose Mardi Crash as the theme. Our Officers for the year were Boh Bundstrom, President, Kay Knott, vice-president, Bernard Tejada, secretary, Teddy Coad, treasurer, Phil -lohnson, hoyls representative, Ann Carr and Pat Brosnan. program representatives. VVe hecame sophomores in the fall of 1969 and proudly selected our class rings. That year our j.V. cheerleaders for the .I.V. foothall and B hasliethall games were Simone Pearson, Judy Blar- quez, and Mary NVallcer. XVe held our Sophomore Hop in the spring, our theme heing YVonderland hy Night. Our Sophomore class officers were Phil johnson, president, Ted Coad, vice-president, Barhara Mingoia, secretary, Ken YVest, treasurer, Boh Bundstrom, hoyis representative, Bev NVatt, girlis representative, Bonnie Balanda and 'Indy Yoegle, program representatives, and Kay Knott. A.C.S. representative. The school year 1961-1962 was an active one for the Class of 1963, now -ll1Il1tJl'S. UCoronation Balln was the theme for our -Iunior Prom, and we elected Phil johnson and .Iudy Nlarquez as our King and Queen. Our class was well represented at Boysi State and Cirlsi State hy Nlilte Agar and Bev XVatt. ln our .lunior year our officers were Nlilie Agar, president, Phil Johnson, vice president, Susan Doplving, secretary, Nlary Beach, treasurer, Dan Spruiell. Boys' representative. Sue Pteginato. Cirls' representative, Pat Brosnan and Anne Carr, program represeiitatives, and Barhara Xlingoia, A.C.S. representative. Our Senior year was the higgest. the hest, and the one filled with the most activities. Through the American Field Service. Nlike Agar went to .Xustria as an exchange student for the first semester and Paul Carcez from Brazil hecame our classmate for the entire year. Kay Knott, Indy Vierra, Susan Aas, and Bev XVatt did a great joh of keeping school spirit high as our Yarsity Cheerleaders. The Homecoming game was exciting, and the climax of the evening came when Susan Doplting was crowned as Homecoming Queen. Our Senior Play was Yon Canit Take It With Youf' and it was enjoyed thoroughly hy all who attended. XYe proved our musical ahility when one day just hefore Christmas vacation we all went caroling through the halls during third period. Our Senior class officers were Ted Coad, president, Dan Spruiell, vice president, Dorothy Sclnnalle, secre- tary, Kathy Vargas, treasurer, Phillip Bosa, Boys' representative, Iudy Nlarquez, girls' representa- tive, Lynda Jensen and Rich Canfield, program representatives, and Susan .-Xas, .,X.C.S. representa- tive. Toward the end of the year came the long-awaited Senior Ditch Day, then our Senior Ball, and finally Craduation. The day that semed so far away when we were Freshmen finally arrived: it was time for the Class of 1963 to receive their diplomas.
