This year the Juniors put on their very colorful and successful carnival in March. The Coney lsland theme and the gay red and white decorations gave a truly carnival atmosphere. The high point of the evening, of course, was the crowning pageant, in which Seniors Louis Ferrario and Pat l-lolm were Treasurer Girls' Representative crowned Carnival King and Queen. During the evening, the school band furnished music and a dance was held atter- wards. Socially and financially, the Carnival was a success, ln May the Iuniors were busy with their banguet tor the Seniors, and in lune, together with the Seniors, they put on the lovely lunior-Senior Ball. SOPHOMORES fun W MIKE GREENISEN GENE IRWIN MARILYN PRITCHARD President Vice-President Secretary The main event for the Sophomores this year was their Christmas dance, which was a big success and enjoyed by a large crowd. The gymnasium was gay with Christmas decorations, and the music was by Gardettos Orchestra. As in past years, the girls were welomed at a barbecue by the A.G.S. Big Sisters, and all the members ot the class were guests oi the Seniors at the Freshman Recep- tion. The Freshmen themselves then gave the Freshman Re- turn, which represented the eitorts ot a large part ot the class and was a definite success. During the year, the Freshmen have been well represented on the honor roll, and several ot them are members oi the CSF. 23
