SENIOR OFFICERS RAY BROWN President RICHARD TOYA Vice-President IEANNE FRACISCO Secretary-Treasurer HERBERT COLT Boys' Representative ANNA WALSTED Girls' Representative SENICB HISTCBY As freshmen, back in lf-350, this eventful year seemed like a faraway dream. Looking ahead to that happy day when we would be highly honored Seniors, we realized that there were many tasks which lay before us before that honor would be ours. Kent Anderson, our beloved classmate, was elected to lead us through our freshman year. ln gratitude for the friendly reception we received upon entering L. U. H. S., we gave the Freshman return. In our sophomore year, Louie Boone Ferrario took over the leader- ship. Winter Wonderland was the theme of our Sophomore Hop which was held just before the Christmas Holidays. Then came that exciting day when we were to choose our class rings, which meant that our dream was becoming more realistic. And now Tom lvfichell was chosen to lead the new upperclassmen through the year. During the days that followed we found ourselves busy planning for the Ir. Carnival and the Iunior and Senior Banquet. Never- theless We took time out to present our assembly which featured, The Snows of Cresta Blanca. A reward for all our work came the night of March 20 when the crown was placed upon the head of our queen, Serena Webb and she was proclaimed Queen of the lunior Carnival of l953p and a prettier queen we've never seen. All hail to the Seniors! The dream, almost becoming a nightmare because of the lack of money, now became a reality under the leader- ship of our new president, Bay Brown. Keeping up the same fast pace of our other years, we have been busy with the numerous senior activi- ties, such as: the Yearbook, Senior Pictures, Senior Announcements, Senior Ball, and We could go on and on. Looking back over the four years, they seem to have passed all too quickly. The halls we thought so confining now seem surprisingly dear to us. As we approach graduation, we wish to thank our Faculty and Administration for the many hours of help, comfort, guidance, and under- standing they have given us. We go a little sorrowfully, leaving behind us our friends and the many familiar scenes of our fun-packed days at L. U. H. S. lreva Williford Senior Editor .--ir
