Keith was also selected as the Livermore High School cand date to compete for the l952 California Odd Fellows Pilgrimage to the United Nations meeting in New York. 6. Dick Ralph and Ruth Rydman were chosen by the faculty as representatives to Boys' State and Girls' State respectively, 7. Ralph Hoffman received the Foresters and Eagles Awards for the outstanding Varsity football player. Paul Coronado received the Eagles award for honorary J.V. football captain, B. Martha Bland deserves special commendation for the many extra hours she has spent working as head librarian, rendering service far beyond what was expected of her. Martha also helped for long hours in the kitchen during the football season, anld the Yearbook Staff wishes to express special acknowledgement of her services. '7.
