Our iniliafion look 'rhe form of scrubbing The sidewalks with iooihbrushes, dancing around The flagpole in cosiumes designed by 'rhe seniors, and being general Tlunkies. Aiier being officially proclaimed Freshmen, and presenied wifh all day suckers ai 'rhe Freshmen Receprion, we changed our minds abou'r ihe Seniors, and ro show our appreciarion, we in relurn gave +he Seniors a dance, 'rhe Freshman Refurn. For our Freshman Class Presideni we chose Bob Armsirong, and 'ro show 'rhai our class had a lol oi 'ralen+, we pu? on an assembly. In our Sophomore year Paul Cardoza was Presideni, and during his ierm of office we sponsored +he Sophomore Hop, which we 'rhoughl was one of The mosi successful dances of 'thai year. Al present iiily members are enrolled and all have supervised farming programs in either livesloclc, poultry, or iarming land. Last year at lhe Cow Palace the Future Farmers look the championship for the best len barrows in the show. Aside from the hard worlc throughout the year, the Future Farmers have had their own dances, and have played basketball and baseball with other neighboring chapters. F. F. A.
