The resulTs oT our combined eTlorT are here presenTed To The TaculTy and sTudenT body. Vlfe hope ThaT in Turning The pages oT This book you will Tind much pleasure in reliving The experiences oT The pasT year as you see yourselves aT work, aT play, and in The various acTiviTies which make up school liTe. Trudeau, TaculTy advisor, Tor Their consTanT cooperaTion and help. ISABELLE MALLONI, EdiTor M ' C O I The quesfion is frequenfly asked by sfudenfs, why do we have fo go fo school? The answer is very simple. We go fo school fo prepare for life. School is nof all book learning. Much of your educafion is derived from your exfra-curricular acfivifies. If you have used your fime in high school fo fhe besf possible advanfage you should come fo graduafion wifh an infelligenf grasp of fhe necessary fundamenfal fools of learn- ing, be able fo fhink clearly, know how fo follow direcfions, be able fo lead your less informed fellow cifizens, and be possessed of a well balanced personalify. You will fhen be ready fo enfer sociefy as a useful cifizen. Life is hard and earnesf: a mixfure of joys and disappoinfmenfs. Live if 'ro fhe fullesf and do nof fear rebuffs. Charf your course, sfick fo if, keep your ideals high, and do nof fear crificisnn as long as you feel sure 'rhaf you are righf. To escape crificisrn one musf do nofhing, say nofhing, and be nofhingf' You receive from life in proporfion fo whaf you give. Give more fhan you hope fo receive. Always remember fhaf fhe world does nof owe you a living. RALPH T. WATTENBURGER A Principal Q OFFICE FORCE: S. Glldersleeve, M. Gourdou, P. Armslronq, Principal Walfenburger, P. Kelly, B.
