the executive committee. The iollowing are the Seniors in office: President ----- ------ ------- --Arthur,3urns Vice President --------------- QorisALqS5en Secretary-- -------------- ----MargaretXBecKg Executive Committee ---------- Ge6TgE!Shermhn Our class has always heen well represented in the vari- ous organizations of the school. We have members who are in the school and state Honor Society, in the concert and dence orchestra, the Girls' League, Boys' Association, as well as in the athletic teams. The class originality was again displayed when Arthur ,Burns and Louis Fsles of our class competed in si debatelxwith the Ceres High School. This debate was the first Interscho lsstic debate in the history of the school for many years, and it was attended by a large crowd. Livermore upheld the affirmitive of the question,HRe- solved that the United States should join the world Court.N Although the Livermore team was defeated, the debate served to bring the schools in closer contact with each other and debates may be held annually. UThe Admirsble Crichtonn, four act comedy by Sir James Barrie, was chosen for the annual Senior Play. The cast which is, with the exception of one member, taken from the Senior Class, Follows: Crichton --------------- grthnrigurns Lord Loam -------------- Clement Lindbergh Mary Lasanby ----------- Margaret Beck Agatha Lasenby -------- -Elva Poulscn Catherine Lasanby ------ Eileen Twohey Hon. Ernest Wooley-----George Sherman Rev. John Trehcrne --.-- George Vukota Tweeny ----------------- Bernadette Murray Lady Brocklehurst ------ Vita Jensen Lord Brocklehurst ----- -Louis Fales. The annual Senior Ball will he held in the new gymnasi- um. This will be the first Senior Ball to be held in this hall and it promises to be a great success. Now, as we are about to close our books for the last time a feeling of sorrow comes to us. Leaving the Livermore High School is like leaving an old friend. Although we are leaving behind us the joys and pleasures of our high school days, we are going out with a greater duty on our shoulders, --that of upholding the honor of the Livermore Union High School. We wish to thank the teachers who have guided us during the four years of high school. We feel that we have done our best and will, in the immortal words of Longfellow-- H---depirting leave behind us Footprints on the sands of time.n 9555352435
