never been dimmed, we soon organized and became recognized as Ngo-getters.W Freshmen 1922-1923 The Freshman Class, under the guidance of Miss Reith and Miss Harvey, made its debut by giving a Halloween party to the students. A program was presented after which we had a dance. This was our first venture into the social life of the school and it was a great success. Sophmores l923-l924 Continuing our social activities with Miss Harvey and D Miss Lynam as class teachers, we presented the Christmas par- ty. A program was presented after which a dance was held. Santa Claus arrived during the evening and presented the Seniors with gifts. Juniors 1924-1925 Our activities in this year placed us one step higher in the school life. Under the supervision of Miss Nissen, our class teacher, we gave the Freshmen Reception. A program and dance was enjoyed. Thus we initiated the Freshmen into the social life of the school and made them feel at home. To our class goes the honor of introducing the Junior Prom into the social life of the school. This dance was held in Forester's Hall and proved a great success. It was the first affair of its kind in the school and was second only to the Senior Ball. Our final social function of the year was the annual Senior-Junior Luncheon. We entertained the Seniors at supper after which there was dancing. ' The social activities were not the only things in which our class was active. This year we had the largest bank ace count ef any class. Tow of our members, Jack Wiliiams and ' ' - ' f ' ' ' 1 iece James McCoy, were instrumental in organizing a ive p e tra. Some of our members also took part in the dance arches Senior Play as well as in student body programs. seniors 1925-1926 , t At lust that looked for event ca me. Wo are Seniors. We have members who are in the school and state Honor Society, in the concert and dence orchestra, the Girls' League, Boys' Association, as well as in the athletic teams. The class originality was again displayed when Arthur ,Burns and Louis Fsles of our class competed in si debatelxwith the Ceres High School. This debate was the first Interscho lsstic debate in the history of the school for many years, and it was attended by a large crowd. Livermore upheld the affirmitive of the question,HRe- solved that the United States should join the world Court.N Although the Livermore team was defeated, the debate served to bring the schools in closer contact with each other and debates may be held annually. UThe Admirsble Crichtonn, four act comedy by Sir James Barrie, was chosen for the annual Senior Play. The cast which is, with the exception of one member, taken from the Senior Class, Follows: Crichton --------------- grthnrigurns Lord Loam -------------- Clement Lindbergh Mary Lasanby ----------- Margaret Beck Agatha Lasenby -------- -Elva Poulscn Catherine Lasanby ------ Eileen Twohey Hon. The annual Senior Ball will he held in the new gymnasi- um. This will be the first Senior Ball to be held in this hall and it promises to be a great success. Now, as we are about to close our books for the last time a feeling of sorrow comes to us. Leaving the Livermore High School is like leaving an old friend. Although we are leaving behind us the joys and pleasures of our high school days, we are going out with a greater duty on our shoulders, --that of upholding the honor of the Livermore Union High School. We wish to thank the teachers who have guided us during the four years of high school. We feel that we have done our best and will, in the immortal words of Longfellow-- H---depirting leave behind us Footprints on the sands of time.n 9555352435
