--' .. .. . , ...-...- .-. , ... .--. -.., ,., - -:PHINCIP2L'S MFSSAGE2' - .Members of the Faculty, Students, and Others: Something attempted, something done, With lots of work, and lots of fun With much accomplished, victories won We note another year has run. With a minimum of friction the wheels of the school have run merrily and students have found this year has brought them valuable dividends of accoaplishaent. Our Seniors, soon departing, face with confidence the world of work and study they have prepared themselves to work in. The training affordf ed in dramatics and public speaking, not only in the recently organized classes of such subgects but in the student assen- blies and class parties as well, is developing among us a bay . . - 'I ' ' of youn5 people able to hold their own on platform and stage. The various organizations of our town are coming to look to the high school for assistance in arrangina programs of enter- tainment and sometimes even oi instruction? Too much credit, cannot be given to the teachers who have at different times coached different sets of students. They have thus brought , , , S then happiness and in addition to that, credit to us all as a school s Uur careful work in International correspondence thru the Junior Red Cross has brought us recognition abroad. Our basketball teams have demonstrated tear work. Handball has taken us all by storm and done us all good. The shopeboys arel completing our wonderful gymnasium. The Night School Band is attracting considerable attention. Our alumni are active both as successful individuals and as an organization. Our Honor Society steadily increases in membership and lends a wholee some influence for better scholarship throughout the school. Our student assemblies are well conducted. Our school remains accredited in the first class. These things are all proof of our possession of a right kind of school spirit. They show that our school, though small, offers wonderful opportunities for the development of ability and character. So here's hoping that for those we re- luctantly see graduate we may receive STUDENTS to maintain our standard, for in an efficient modern high school there is no place for others. We welcome no failures. We insist upon Success, Success, Success! And Success remember is to be and to Q0 the very best you can. It is this Success I wish you all. ' Herbert Lee, principal. 4- 'lv Ik
