We Juniors are a gay and lively group. Our large enrollment of twenty six members,makes possible our accomplishments. The Junior class has been represented in many plays, en- tertainments and patriotic assembly programs.

The Junior pie sale held early in the semester, for the benefit of the Del Valle Farm was a decided success, bringing in the proceeds of eleven dollars. A candy sale held for the benefit of the children at the Arroyo was also successful. Last Christmas the Juniors provided gifts for thirty children at the Arroyo. We also brought gifts to the White Gifts program. Twenty six New Year boxes were filled for the Japanese children by the Juniors. Wfhriftu' is one of the Junior slogans as shown by our large bank account. The grand total saved to date is 5203.30 We decided to get our class rings this semester so that we could have longer time to wear them. As a result of this decision seventeen Juniors are proudly wearing their reigs-- the emblem of the class of '25. The Junior Class is represented in the Student Body as followsr Vice Pres. of S. B. Mary Twohey Assembly Program Com. Marguerite Crohare Sick Committee Anna L. Keck Executive Member Alan Henry Executive Member lone Teeter Six members from our class made the school Honor Society the first semester and three the second. The President and Secretary of this society were elected from the Juniors. We are also represented in the Campfire Girl's society and the Glee Club. I N A Junior Good English Club was formed by our class. We have a meeting every Tuesday. The officers are a President, Secretary, and three Committee members. These officers serve for a period of five weeks. A special program is arranged by one officer for each week. The purpose of this club is to eliminate slang and work for better spoken English and to help us to appear before an audience with confidence. Eleven Juniors made an excursion to San Francisco to see David Warfield in Shakespeare's WMerchant of Venice.W They also visited the Aquarium, Ecademy of Sciences, and other points of interest in the Golden Gate Park. Hs well as the educational benefits derived from the trip everyone enjoyed a good time. I we are planning a Junior-Jolly-Up to be given in the near future. The Senior-Junior Luncheon and the School Pic- nic are two The Juniors affairs eagerly looked forward to by the class. premise to show their loyalty ard good sportsman- ship at both these coming events. ---ooOoo--
