It was the Senior Class who greeted the poor little tim- id Freshmen on the opening day of school. And it was the Seniors who gave the reception to the Freshmen on September fourteenth and entertained them with interolass talent. Two skits were presented. One entitled NPlease Qmit Flowersn had a east which consisted of Glaudia Packard, Alan Henry, Elbert Kirkman and Egbert Hudson and Delbert Armstrong. The other play entitled uAt the Moviesnpresented Ramona Attkisson,Wilma Steiger, Dorothy Jensen, Samuel Bothwell, John Poggi and Mar- garet.Savage, accompanist.

On November second the Senior class gave a dance fnr the entire school in the high school anditorium. The, dance was financed by a Pie Sale conducted by the Seniors, from which SL? was cleared. This class conducted WGocd English Day from which sin dollars was cleared. This money- was used to purchase Red Cross Seals for the benefit of the Arroyo Sanitarium. At Christmas the Senior Class ftlled twenty bones for the nwhite Gifts Christmasn which were sent to the children of Japan. The Senior Class claims the Dramatics Class. Six of the eight members are Seniors. This class has given many inter- esting skits and dramas throughout the year. The Senior mem- bers are Elizabeth Lefever, Claudia Packard, Elbert. Kirkman, Delbert Armstrong, Egbert Judson and John Poggi. A Ruth McCoy of he Senior Class won t e Lincoln medal awarded by the Springfield Watch Conpany for the best com- position on Lincoln. Ramona Attkisson, a Senior, won the prize awarded by the Livermore High School Student Body for the best school song. Miss Attkisson wrote both the words and music. Irene Brady won the twenty five dollars district prize for the best speech on the Constitution. The contest was con- ducted by the San Francisco Chronicle and other leading news- papers for the high schools of the state. The Senior Class conducteo the Lincoln Day program under the direction of Irene Brady, a member of the class. The pro- gram consisted of: Gettysburg Address by Alan Henry Selections from L. H. S. orchestra. uSolecn Prison a one act play, -gesenting Irene Bracy Clauti: Packard Dorothy Beck Margaret Savage Ramona Attkisson Wilma Staiger Anna Louise Keck Alice Young Edna Twissellman For the annual Senior Play the class is presenting nCOme Out of the Kitchenn, a comedy in three acts. The cast is largely selected from the Senior class. Two xemhers of the cast of eleven are Juniors. The cast is as follows!
