Geographers tell ns to look to the en- vironmentf' if we wish to explain a people. Foremost among the nations of the world stands the United States. ln Northern New England, occupying a small section of West- ern Maine. Livermore Falls is located. A very typical enterprising American commun- ity, its resources have been highly developed by an energetic citizenry. Realizing that the youth of our land constituted our eountryls greatest asset. the earliest local settlers planned, through education. to bring into action the highest abilities of man, the men- tal and intellectual. In preparation for a greater America, they acted. So we, today. meet at L.F.H.S.. enrolled as students and as junior citizens. We take pride in our school. our community, our state and our nation.
