This exlension means sludenls will be gelling up earier lo face an even longer day. vwlh lhis change, sludenls have become more in- volved in school aclivilies lo hinder lhemselves from boredom. This new schedule has also given many sludenls lhe opporlunily lo lake lhe classes lhey need lo graduale during school Live Oak has also seen greal sludenl parlicpalion in afler school sporls. Because of lhis exlra class, many more sludenls have lime for sporl aclivilies. This year has recogniZed lhe largesl lurnouls for sporls ever. This increase in sludenl involvemenl has made lhe overai exlra curricular program more successful Allhough inilially mosl sludenls dd nol wanl lo be subjecled lo a longer school day, lhey have come lo realze lhis change is for lhe beller. Live Oak has beneilled greally from lhis new program. The sludenls have become more in volved in school spiril, sporls, academic areas, and all olher aspecls of school The enlire sludenl body along wilh lhe excellenl adminislralion, have accepled and adapled well lo lhe new changes here al Live Oak. Many students found that they had to amuse themselves while waiting for class changes during the first weeks of school. ln this case, Rich Sigona patiently waits for Mr. Garcia to change his schedule and at the same time checks out a blond beauty.
