TO THE GRADUATING CLASS OF 1963 This book records many of the activities that you will remember and hold dear throughout your lifetime. At this time the things that you are depicting in the CORLIONIS appear to many of you to be matters of great moment. Later they will appear to be of much less importance and you will wonder why you were so concerned about them. This is because life brings many changes and as you move on into another phase of your life, new things will confront you that will absorb you and render less important relatively, the events of your high school days. Such changes do not indicate that your high school ex- periences are not important. They are basic to your later life and the solution of its problems. These remarks should in no way indicate that we are trying to be over serious or to in any way curtail the enjoyment of your high school days. They are simply to indicate that the formal closing of your high school experiences, of which this book is a part, are a portal to a new phase of your life which will be now the most important one for sometime to come, because it will be the present and a new challenge.
