Using a good man-to-man defense and an alert passing offense they improved tremend' dously as the season progressed. Capt Bzll Bakker and Nat Whitney, a tremen dously improved ball player, dominated the boards. Fzorentino and Contim were excellent playmakers and scored frequently. Brown showed much promise fm' a beginner. Strengthened by the return of Harry See at the end of the season, the Frosh pressed the JV team in a thrilling climax to a successful season. The following girls made up the team: Claire Beaulieu, Sandy Graham, Carol Cunningham, Julie Hosmer, Janet Eliades, Minnie Cantina, Nancy Sammarco, Mary Delamater, and Penny Dalton.
