The theme of this book is Building a Better Fu- ture. The purpose of this yearbook is to show how we have attempted to prepare for our future. ln academic work we have been studying so we will be able to enter such fields as science, medicine, engineering, radio, and teaching. In commercial work we have done things which will enable us to become accountants, bookkeepers, and secretaries. In Home Economics, Industrial Arts, Clubs, Dramatics, Ath- letics, and Science Fair, which is fairly new in this area, we have been learning the value of working together and assuming some of the responsibilities with which we shall be faced in the future.
