6'a4lmfbulL The 1952-53 basketball season was not a successful one for the Little York team. The Eagles won only four scheduled games and lost fifteen. They won third place in the Aledo Invitational Tournament by beating Roosevelt Military Academy and Keiths- burg. They improved their playing as the season progressed, but it was not improved sufficiently to enable them to win. There were twenty boys out for basketball this year: Dean Armstrong, Bill Boock, Dick Clark, Andy Olson, Rondel McVey, Billie Biddle, Harold Kinney, Cleo Stokes, Bob Free, Franklin Campbell, Charles Earp, Jim Booth, Dale Ross, Clyde Goff, Jim Melton, Bill Damewood, Billie Stokes, Terry Lescher, Paul Fredrickson, and Arthur Davies.
