Stevens Point State College, Uni- versity ofWHsconsin Mathematics, Pep Club, Cheerleader Adviser, Senior Class Adviser, For- enslcs M, TIIE PRINCIPAVS ME SSA CLASS OF 1955 When as Freshmen the present Senior Class enrolled in Little Wolf High School, the world had shortly emerged from a great war and had then entered into the Korean conflict. The vision of peace soeagerly sought was certainly dim at that time and the continuing cold war with resulting unrest for the free world added to the uncertainty of the future. Tt would have been easy for anyone to adopt a defeatlst attitude, but these students realized that at a time of stress, more initiative, stronger determlnaion, and better objectlveswere needed more than ever. With an eye toward the future, the major- ity of the class availed themselves of full academic loads and participated actively in many of the co-curricular offerings of the school. In spite of distractions, outside in- terests, and disappointments, the bulk of the class perservered and today some of the finest students to attend this school are members of the present Senior Class. It is the sincere desire of your school that the class of 1955 will make the most of the training they have received and the skills they have learned, so their accompl1shments in the years ahead will refloctfavorably on their .MW Alma Mater.
