On that day there were many weird looking humans roaming through the halls and grounds of Manawa High. Out of this motley crowd, two individuals were selected to lead the Homecoming parade. Roberta Seeger was Hobo King, dressed as a dandified clown and Don Craig was our worthy Hobo Queen, looking very feminine in dress, fur, hat, and heels. The senior float comm1ttee'e efforts were rewarded by being awarded first place. The L1- brary Club received second place and the Student Council third place. That night when the Manawa Wolves clashed with the Wau- paca Comets,we came out on top with the impressive score of 32-O., This put the Manawa crowd in a happy frame of mind for the dance which followed, with Allen Bradway and Pat Roman reigning as King and Queen.

On February 9, eleven new members were initiated into the chapter.
