Nine girls were in chorus and a few of them entered in the solo-ensemble con- test. Jany Crane and Carol Ja- wort went out for forensics. Sev- eral girls were members of the F.H.A. and G.A.A. and they parti- cipated ln the activities during the course of the year. Sally Roentz was their representative in the Homecoming court of honor. Those boys who went out for football this year were: Tom Wheeler, Paul Fermaniok, Hugh Leischow, Bill Allen, Don Krueger Tom Martin, Clarence Samson, Don Knudsen, and Ray Peterson. Bob Flater and Lyle Becker were mana- gers. Those out for basketball were Bill Allen, Hugh Lelschow, Tom Martin, Don Knudsen, and Paul Fermanick.
