Lakewood 13-L. V. H. S. 0 Lakewood undefeated during the 1998 season brought a well balanced team to the Little Valley' field. The elex ens xvere exenly matched but L. H. S. shoxx ed the greatest driving power and through the speedy xvork of Nichols Were able to put ox'er two touchdoxx ns for 1 victory. Bradford 97-L. V. H. S. 0 Playing in 1 sea of mud at Bradford the heaxy B. H. S. eleven con- querors of Olean defeated L. V H. S. in the seasons final game. Tvxo of Bradford s touchdowns came at the opening of the game by means of the old shoe string pass. Little X alley' played a fair game but the team anticipated defeat before entering the contest. Bradford had one of the strongest teams of north western Pennsylvania. In considering the season as a whole. the team did not do so badly.
