An A w ct 1 A r Just as every one of you in Little Rock Central High School is part of the student body, so are you part of the PIX. Your laughter, your loves, and your activities are all reflected in this yearbook, is you turn through its pages, may you recall the experiences, gay or serious, that you have had this year. The architects of the present building must have known the type of people who would soon fill the halls with happiness and enthusiasm, be- cause they have presented characteristics of every student which they have placed in the statues on the facade of the building. We think these statues represent qualities in you, your character, and your inner feelings. They are Ambition, Personality, Opportunity, and Preparation. Just as the statues represent phases of your I character, we think that Bubba and Babs, our fictitious, yet typical boy and girl, represent your attitude toward life. They demonsrate your out- look toward matters of importance. As you see them living for you throughout the PIX, we be- lieve that you will see yourself also. As you see them, you will see that—YOU ARE THE, PIX. We believe that you will wish to preserve this yearbook and cherish it. Then, in the years to come, you will treasure the pictures, the scenes, and the ideas that these pages contain. We sincerely hope that you enjoy the 1955 PIX notv, and for the rest or your life.
