SENIORS Through the past year, the members of the graduating class of 1960 have been the leaders in our school. Because the seniors were the only group that had attended Central be- fore this year, the responsibility of guidance and leadership was theirs. The opportunity to de- velop their minds and personalities was presented and they energetically accepted the chal- lenge. Through this acceptance, the seniors progressed toward maturity and realized the im- minence of adulthood. The Door to Leadership is the senior year. Preparation at Central will enable the grad- uates to open and pass through this portal and with firmness meet the demands of the modern world. Graduation day will be met with mixed emotions — joy, sad- ness, and indifference — but in the years to come one sentiment abou; Central High School will prevail — appreciation.
