He is seldom too busy to assist both teachers and students in their problems, and he has done everything to maintain the love and respect which the faculty and students have for him. VICE PRINCIPALS Mrs. Elizabeth Huckaby GIRLS' VICE PRINCIPAL Mrs. Elizabeth Huckaby, girls' vice principal, works closely with the girls of Central High School. She sponsors the Pentangle Board and assists the girls' service clubs. Mrs. Huckaby is in charge of many opportunities for the girls of Central High, such opportunities as Girls' State, City Beautiful Princesses, and the D. A. R. Good Citizen. She also sponsors the student aid pro- gram for both boys and girls. Delmar Hart BOYS' VICE PRINCIPAL As boys' vice principal, Mr. Hart, interviews stu- dents referred to him by classroom teachers and ar- ranges advisory conferences with parties concerned. He maintains a cooperative working relationship with community organizations interested in youth welfare and related activities in Little Rock. Mr. Hart is a nominal member on all standing com- mittees. He supervises the school bookstore. He ren- ders specific administrative and executive assistance as directed by the principal.
