CENTRAL CAMPUS SCENES MAIN BUILDING Central's main building, depicted here in Little Rock's biggest snowfall in 38 years, is considered one of the most beautiful high school buildings in the nation. It was completed in 1927 at a cost of $1,500,000. The building has 100 rooms for classes and lockers for approximately 3,000 students. The building is loved by its students and alumni. CAMPUS INN One of the most popular gathering spots in and around CHS is Campus Inn, located at the southwest corner of the main building. It is open tc the student body through the school day and to supervised parties and dances on Friday and Saturday nights. Among its attractions for student use are its size, excellent dance floor, music box, public address system, and well equipped soda fountain.

dedicate the 1960 PIX to William P. Ivy MATH For thirty-five years William P. Ivy was a vital part of Central. The worthwhile influence that Mr. Ivy exercised upon a large percentage of the student body is rare. His Christian spirit per- meated the activities of his homeroom and his classroom. Through his extensive work as sponsor of the Chapel Club, he touched and molded the lives of many. For this help and guidance, we are very deeply appreciative. 7

FIELD HOUSE The field house is dedicated to the development of strong bodies, the conservation of good health, and the promotion of sportsmanlike character. The building, with a floor space of 22,136 square feet, was finished in 1952, at a cost of $275,000. It can be separated by sliding walls into three complete gymnasium floors, one used by girls' physical education classes and two by boys' classes. It is also the scene of conference basketball games, large school dances, and the senior prom. QUIGLEY STADIUM Quigley Stadium, formerly known as Tiger Stadium, was named in honor of Earl F. Quigley, who served Little Rock Central High School for 41 years. In addition to approximately 16,000 seats, the stadium is equipped with an excellent train- ing room, modern athletic facilities and two complete press boxes. Tennis and basketball courts and two practice fields are also part of this well known athletic plant.
