They have all achieved at least part of their ambition and are now suc- cessful instructors. They are encour- aging you and me to do our best. They stimulate our ambition. From our faculty members we may be in- spired to develop our otvn ambition and abilities into something far be- yond our present comprehension. Bubba and Babs may seem to be in trouble here, but they will profit by this experience. All teachers love apples, don't they? Assistants to the Principal Mrs. Elizabeth Huckaby Newly elected LRCHS vice princi- pal, her warmth and charm cause Central’s girls to consider her a friend. She also serves as a girls’ counselor and as an instructor in English. J. Harvey Walthall Our vice principal is an able as- sistant to Mr. Matthews in all matters of interest to Central High School. As counselor of boys at Central, his kindly and careful guidance is known far and wide.
