Olander, William F. White, Raymond Alber The Guiding Light Captain Perry and his Ship's Navigators charted the course, and it has worked out well withugood seamen aboard. A language laboratory was in- stalled and two classes in French were added. Also, the services of a part-time guidance counsellor were secured. New uniforms for a 60-piece grade and high school band were purchased. The school lunchroom was enlarged and remodeled and a new bus was secured. A capital ship for an ocean trip Was the 'walloping window blind. No gale that blew dismayed her crew Nor troubled the captain's mind. The man at the wheel was taught to feel Contempt for the wildest blow And it often appeared, when the weather cleared, That he'd been in his bunk below. Then blow ye winds heigh-ho A-sailing we will go - - Compliments of BURKE GRAIN , INC . Windom, Kansas THE WARREN HOTEL McPherson, Kansas f 'f The Time You were there, enjoying those care-free, fun- loving days filled with laughter and the sound of happy voices uniting to back the Reclskin teams with pep assemblies and school spirit. Friendships developed and grew. Among the many memories that we will cherish are: The many fads that were characteristic of our class - the gum wrapper love chains, short skirts, circle pins, fringed jean shorts, baggy sweat shirts, white tennis shoes, hair ribbons - The cute girl Larry Loutzenhiser made when we initiated the Freshmen - The many unstudied history tests postponed by the hurried planning of a birthday party fhow the seniors agedj - The parties and proms where the majority didn't dance - Trips to games and the fun we had and the songs we made up QGreen, Green Freshmeng Silly, Silly Sophomoresg Jolly, Jolly Iuniorsg and the Almighty Seniorsj - Q'-sys, of Qur Lives The lectures from the office - Qthey were fewj - and how we didn't let them get us down - The magazine sales record made by the boys - and how much fun the girls had carrying their suit- cases on the senior trip as a result - The class plays--they were hard work but so much fun. We'll always remember the good Swedish rolls and the country cider, and the trips around the 8Ym ' The girls style show at Senior Family Fun Night, the woifdgul banquets, and finally the triumphant graduation! Each of us was in a social whirl of school activi- ties. All of these memories and many more make up the full alld frO1iC. the enthusiasm and excite- ment of our highschool days. And you were there, sharing our joys and sorrows, helping us develop personality and poise, and join- ing the Redskins in THE TIME OF OUR LIVES.
