Class Prophecy Upon arrrvrng rn Morrow for a reunron of the Class of on I was apprehended by none other than EDWIN WOODS He rs now Chref of Polrce and rt seems he has no sympathy for he young fellows who lrke to hot rod As I was wartrng to see the Judge Iglanced through a newspaper There was a very rmpressrve array of prctures of local new events I looked farther and learned that they were taken by the chref photographer ETIIEL SPURLOCK My eye caught an advrce to the lovelorn column edrted by no one but my old classmate SHIRLEY TAYLOR who rs now happrly marrred and has three charmrng chrldren RONALD EVANIS turned out to be the judge who trred my case As I walked rnto the lobby of a very smart hotel a verv gracrous lady came to meet me I recognrzed her rn medrately as RAMONA ANN BROWN It seems she owns several large hotels rn nerghborrng crtres also The hotel was ve ry crowded as there were a lot of salesmen rn town for a conventron but Ramona showed me to a lovely room Who should Idrscover rn the next room but JOYCE BOWLING a celebrated effrcrencv expert who was rn town to grve the salesmen a few pornters on how to sell therr goods more easrly and ofcourse for the reunron But the brggest surprrse of all was when DORIS CREECH the leadrng Journalrst of the dav and edr or ofthe Morrow Flash came rn to honor us wrth a vrsrt That evenrng as I entered the hrgh school gvmnasrum who should meet me at the door but ROGER LEWIS who rn fornred me that he was now prrncrpal of the hrgh school I had hardly gotten rnsrde the door when I was met by STELLA DAVIS who was strll sportrrrg her Poodle Cut e Among those who were unable to attend was JIM COX who Jorned the U S Navy rrghtafter graduatron and rs now an offrcer ofconsrderable rank EDWARD BERGHOLT rs also among the absent It seems he rs the owner of a large cosmetrc corporatron and rs now rnvolved rn a law surt wrth hrs chref cornpetrtor Fax lxlactor It seems they have stolen hrs rdea for a unrversally new method of reducrng However hrs secretary GERALDINE HEND ERER was present Among the celebrrtres from our class rs CAROL CHAVRE the famous broadway star who rs well known for the lavrsh partres she has HAVREY RATLIFF rs really qurte a ladres man He rs now the Nlatrons s top crooner buthrs success hasn t changed hrrrr a brt and he rs strll just as frrendly as ever The very drstrngurshed archaeologrst and collector of Indarn relrcs LOUIS SAUR was present He has been engaged to grve thc commencement address at the graduatron exercrse of the Class of 'IO We are told that PAUL RAGLAND has been travelrng far and wrde as a regular member of the Harlem Globe Trotters We saw a very prosperous lookrng matron who was none other than EVAINGELINE BROWN She was talkrng to LOU ANN HETZEL who 15 also rather well known locally for the commentary she does onthe fashron shows shown over the local T V statron ADRIAN ACHTERMANN rnforms us that he rs now the head veterrnarran at the Morrow Anrrnal llosprtal and that just recently he was called out to the farm of EARL ISAACS Earl was just checkrng hrs herd of beef cattle before shrpprng them off to market NORMAN IIALE told me he had a lrttle bad luck at hrs garage last week and that the frre department had to be called I rnqurred and found that our old frrend CLYDE DEMITT was now Frre Chref I have enjoyed myself rmmensely but I am eager to get back to rrry famrly and our ranch out rn Nevada What Surely you recognrze your old class presrdent IUANITA CREECH don t you 21 ., t', .
