Literally, they are applying Sister Mary Dennis's suggestion, We have learned the principles of Spanish, now, let us enjoy it. Two words that have taken on magnanimous meaning in the world today are Intermltionzll Rela- tions. They spell the attitude existing between and among the nations of the earth. It is vitally impor- tant that the future adults of America understand the people and customs of these foreign nations. There is no surer way to a country's heart than through her language. Thus, our departments of French and Spanish answer this challenge by aiming, through the teaching of these languages, to bring the students to understand these romantic peoples and their social background. As a result, we students realize that France, Spain, and the Southern Repub- lics are not just far-away countries but truly our neighbors-real people who are as eager to know about us as we are to learn about them. YVe are thus becoming better ht to take our proper place in this era of expanding in- ternationalism, an era in which the Catholic press, through all languages, has a gigantic task to exe- cute - to bring the world back to Christ! fLeftj The Sisters of St. Joseph pilot us to the alluring countries of France, Spain, and South America via the S.
