Our laboratories with their modern equipment afford scientific- minded Little Flowerites the opportunity of basic preparation for future roles as chemists, pharma- cists, x-ray technicians, doctors, and nurses. After school hours find students furthering their knowl- edge in science by carrying on extracurricular ex- perimentation. Youth of today, realizes' the importance of mathematics oflcred in their school' curriculum. They face a future of streamlining, time-saving. and precision. To meet the clamor for proficient inathematicians. students are given a mathematical foundation hy the required basic algebra l and geometry in freshman and sophomore years, respectively. fllany .desirous of furthering this knowledge go on to major in ulgehra ll. trigonometry, and solid geometry, thus com- pleting a four-year cycle. A course in mathematics not only henelits those interested in utilizing it in their future but also provides a grindstone for sharpening the mind.
