What is this strange magnet that attracts so many spirited young ladies? The Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls, educaf tional center of Catholic and patriotic action! The chief source of its magnetism lies within the Catholic atmosphere pervading its walls and coloring every activity. In this environment students have all the advantages of a modern secular education coupled with religion-the soul of proper training. Extrafcurricular activities in sports and cluhs satisfy the wide-range of pupil desires. The friendly chatter of students hustling through the halls and on the stairs hetween classes reflects the cooperative spirit indicative of this vast family of Catholic girls who daily are drawn to the magnetic corner. They start the day with a smile as they look forward to the prohtable, pleasant hours of school life. to school But not now' In days prior to the A B C rationing, many Little Flowerites automoblled EB iii We're going home! As the magnetic corner releases its hold at close of day, students scatter via divers routes. In this well organized twofyear course, half the time is devoted to the art of sewing and the other half to training in the theory and practice of culinary arts. Afternoon frocks, sport suits, and even formal gowns are made and modeled hy girls in our sewing department. While alternates and substitutes are the suhiect of concern to many in these days of rationed foods, those in the foods department are trained to meet the erises. With ingenuity, they aid in maintaining peace on the Home Front. git sl .nah ...S lm 1 'Sa Here we go round the washing machine so early on Monday morning. hum these home ec-ers.
