,ca Stag lllith Us To Greet Still further opportunity for spiritual development is olfered each student during the Annual Retreat of three days, when the routine is hroken that more tim e may he devoted to prayer. All through the school year Religion is allotted a full period each day. There is a Religion syllahus for each of the four years, Four faculty inemhers, representing as many different communities, are assigned the planning and presenf tation of the Religion lessons. Each of these faculty memhers is made responsihlc for Religion in one of the four years, and hroadcasts her lectures so that all the students in her classes hear the instruction in Religion at the same time. For many students, the secondary school is an immedif ate preparation for life. For others, it is a preparation for college. To train adequately all its students whether for schools of higher learning, for the husiness world, or for th: management of a home, Little Flower Catholic High School offers two courses: Academic and Commercial. These courses are not mutually exclusive. Although throughout the Academic Course stress is placed upon the acquisition of prerequisites for college entrance. a student choosing this course may carry as her major suhject any of the arts or the vocational suhjects. When in college, she may continue the special study of any of these suhjects she has taken while in thc secondary school. The husiness world, offering positions ranging from the office of the underfstenographer to that of the high execuf tive, appeals to many students. The Commercial Course in- cludes a sufficient numher of academic suhjects to satisfy the college entrance requirements: attention throughout the course, however. is directed primarily to stenography, type' writing, hookkeeping, office practice. salesmanship, and economic geography. The graduate of Little Flower Com' niercial Course is well equipped for a career in the modern husiness world. Tap Sisti-.R M.
